Legacy United is Looking for You!

I promise you — I have always believed that I was meant to do something extraordinary with my life– it just took me a little while to figure out how I was going to make that happen.

When I was a kid and people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up– I would always either say I didn’t know or I would copy what my friends were saying. I hadn’t figured it all out then, but I knew in my soul that ONE DAY — I would make a difference.

Here I am now. 22 months ago- I found my calling. I surrendered my life to Jesus and finally listened to the voice telling me which path to choose. I am here. I am creating the life that I was meant to live. I love every second of every day. Even those moments that seem to be terrible- I pull the good and learn the lesson.

I still have so many achievements to accomplish- but I have learned more about who I AM in the last year and a half than I could have ever imagined.

This is my passion, my love, my life. I am choosing. I am the boss. And I dare anyone to tell me I ‘can’t’ do something.– watch me! I promise you– I will PROVE you wrong!! This is the BEST life I could ever imagine and I have the FREEDOM to live how I want.

I’m inviting YOU to come along. Choose the path less taken. Choose to design your own life. I will mentor you, teach you and guide you every step of the way. Beachbody has helped me create a life I’ve dreamed of and it’s only getting better!

Are you in?

I am a normal mom who is blessed to run a health and fitness business from home. I plan my schedule. Today I have worked for 3 hours- my choice. And I will work for an hour after the kids go to bed before date night with my man

When I started 22 months ago– I put in one hour a day. Focus, determination, drive and belief are what led me and being teachable, duplication and consistency have built me to where I am today.

Now- I have the most amazing team and we are changing lives by the second. Building a business should be on everyone’s radar because YOU DECIDE how fast you grow. YOU DECIDE your path and GOD leads the way.

What if you walk into your office tomorrow and your boss tells you they have to let you go.

What if you wake up and you think ‘what am I doing with my life?! I never see my family!’

What if you had the option to do more? Be more!
EVEN IF… You love your job now or you love being a stay at home mom. What if building an online business would guarantee you financial security?

—> Would you make an hour a day happen to starting something new?

I did. And wow. The rewards have been endless!!

Would you like to be one of 10 wonderful women this month who will personally be mentored by me? Would you like to work 1:1 with me while I give you the best technique for this business? Are you ready to shine?!

Please email me at valbozzo15@gmail.com. Please post COACHING INFO in the subject line!!! Remember- I’m only taking 10!’
Let’s do this remember- if I can do this — anyone can do this.

How To FOCUS When Chaos Is All Around Us

Do you feel like you have adult ADD sometimes? It’s like the next shiny thing catches our attention and before we know it we have no idea what we were doing before we lost that focus! I know that I can be the biggest time waster without even knowing it until the time is GONE! So lately, I have been utilizing my phone as a resource and tool… other than just using it to scroll Facebook and check emails! I am going to share my tips with you in hopes to get you to focus and stop saying “I don’t have time” when in reality— we all have the same 24 hours in a day!! Here is a great way to start changing your daily habits:

  1. Start your mornings off RIGHT!! Get a healthy morning routine going. Make sure to get up early enough to give yourself time for a workout, healthy breakfast and a little bit of time to relax. Don’t start the rat race as soon as your feet hit the floor- take time for YOU! It makes you a better person! Rushing around from the moment you get out of bed can make you feel stressed and can prevent you from staying focused.
  2. Keep a to-do list. I make mine either at night before bed for the next day or after I workout in the morning. Take 5 minutes to organize your day and your day will be so much better!!! Staying focused is much easier when a to-do list is involved. This way, you can prioritize what needs to get done and what can wait.
  3. Figure out what you value in life. Be sure to think about what matters to you in life. Don’t let other peoples values define/motivate you. Figure out your own goals and reasons for them and then go for it!
  4. Remove physical clutter. Staying focused can be tough when there are messes and things tend to get lost, creating even less focus. Make sure things are generally cleaned up and get rid of things you don’t use.
  5. Turn off smart phone notifications. At first, it seems convenient that our phones will let us know when we get a new email or photo like, but constantly being glued to our phones is a huge hindrance from staying focused on the task or enjoying the company of the people we are with.
  6. Dedicate 1 or 2 specific times a day to answer emails, check voice messages and respond to social media. This way, you are not constantly checking them throughout the day and you are able to keep staying focused.
  7. Set your own tone for your day!! Take charge and be positive. Find the best in every situation and keep moving forward!
  8. Learn to say no. Sometimes, staying focused is a matter of knowing when to say no – don’t take on extra engagements if they are going to stress you out.
I know first hand the distractions that everyday life can bring. I am a busy mom, wife, entrepreneur, leader, friend, daughter and the list goes on. I wear about every hat in the book and I have learned how to prioritize my life and manage without feeling completely CRAZY all the time!! Start to make little changes and watch them add up to big milestones!

How about these bad boys for a quick, easy and super healthy breakfast?

I hate hearing the excuse “I don’t have time!” We all have time- we have to MAKE time! You have time to grab coffee- grab a donut or go through the drive thru!! You have MORE than enough time to make some healthy muffins at the beginning of the week and grab them as you are headed out the door for work/school in the mornings!!!

Check it out!!

1 carton egg whites

Use any of the following:
spinach
red peppers
green peppers
onions
canadian bacon
asparagus
mushrooms
hot sauce
shredded cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, grease muffin tins.

Add whichever ingredients you wish to the bottom of each muffin slot.
Pour egg mixture over top.

Bake about 20 minutes or until middles are not runny.

ENJOY!!!

21 Day Fix Grocery List

I am SO in love with the 21 Day Fix Meal plan!! It’s my new go to guide when it comes to meal planning each week. I really love the WHOLE PROGRAM! It is GENIUS!!!
I love the containers– it is totally fool proof! Fill it up and eat it!
I love how they are color coded for each food group! No questions asked! It is just easy!
I love that you know exactly how much to eat of each food with out even trying.
No calorie counting
No guessing
I love the workouts
I love that they are short
I love that they work the entire body
So .. that MIGHT sum it up … but not really!!
I mostly love that my challengers are FINALLY finding something that works and getting AMAZING results all while learning how to properly fuel their bodies.
I have been following the fix meal plan for a month now and I can tell you that I don’t even have to use the containers most days. I can pretty much eyeball how much of each food group I’m suppose to have. It’s become a HABIT and something that I just do and follow.
I love how I didn’t really have to change much to the clean eating plan that I already follow but It really let me zero in on how many portions of each food group that I needed to have daily. I still have a complex carb and protein with every meal.
21 day fix meal plan, 21 day fix grocery list, 21 day fix meal
When I head to the grocery store every week I pretty much have the same things on my list. No, they aren’t always used for the same meals but normally the same ingredients are used and mixed around to make various meals. There are a list of foods that are approved on the 21 day fix and most of them are what I was already currently eating so it made things pretty simple. I can’t tell you exactly what to buy but I can give you a good idea of what you should see in your cart each week.
Proteins (RED)

Lean chicken breast
Pork Tenderloin
Flank steak
Eggs
Lean ground turkey
Salmon/Tilapia
Plain greek yogurt
Organic veggie burgers
Protein powder

Turkey Meat, Ham, and Turkey Bacon are on the list. I do enjoy Turkey bacon at least once a week with my breakfast but it’s not something that I would include in your diet daily. It’s higher in sodium and your body will retain water. So I try and stay away from these things.

Healthy Fats (BLUE)

Avocado (I love the mini wholly guacamole, perfect size for the blue container)
Raw unsalted nuts (I like almonds and walnuts)
All natural Peanut Butter
Hummus
Feta
Extra virgin olive oil
Coconut oil

I do have to say this is the category that I found I was eating way to much of. I really really love my peanut butter, hummus and avocado. I would eat all of these in one day and it was one of the main factors holding me back from progress. YES they are healthy but having to much of a good thing CAN hurt you. That’s what I love about this plan. You can be a beginner or a pro clean eater but you are still going to learn something. I’ve eliminated a lot of dairy from my diet and i’ve noticed less bloating and stomach pains.

Fruit (PURPLE)

Berries (my favorite strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries)
Orange
Apple
Grapes
1/2 Banana
Watermelon
Kiwi
Limes/Lemons for flavor in water or on fish.

Try and watch your sugars when it comes to fruit. If you are really wanting to shed weight or only have a little bit to lose. Stay away from Grapes, Mangos, and Banana’s. Those are higher in Sugar and Banana’s are high in starch. This is a hard one for me because I love fruit but I promise the minute you make these small changes you will see those changes you have been wanting to see. Also try and have your fruits earlier in the day.
Vegetables (GREEN)
Baby Spinach Leaves
Broccoli
Aspragus
Green beans
Carrots
Cucumbers
Tomatoes
Celery
Peppers
Onions
Squash

No CORN is not a vegetable people!!! It’s a STARCH! Stay away from it.

Complex Carbs

Yams or Sweet Potatoes
Back Beans
Pinto Beans
Quinoa
Brown Rice
Rolled Oats (NOT INSTANT)
Ezekiel Bread
Whole Wheat Tortilla
Brown Rice Cake

Here are a list of things that I frequently use:
Chia seeds
Unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Mrs. Dash seasonings (salt free)
Raw honey
Cinnamon
Garlic
Seltzer Water
Green tea
