First thing’s first: Was this trip REALLY FREE?
Family Vacation! Thank you Beachbody!
Yep! So here’s the deets. I am the world’s biggest skeptic and 3 years ago when someone asked me if I would like to know more about coaching I pretty much shut them down immediately. I just thought that was for other people and a get rich quick thing… and I didn’t take a look at the facts or what it REALLY was about until about a month later… when I couldn’t stop thinking about coaching and that I might actually be able to do this for myself and my family. And seriously- I’m so grateful that I went with it, opened my mind to the possibility of actually making this a successful thing and in turn.. my life now looks a whole lot different than it did 3 years ago and I am FOREVER GRATEFUL for it all!
So I earned a free trip… HOW?
Sailing through the Caribbean on the Oasis of the Seas Cruise Ship. Stopping in the Bahamas and Jamaica. Soaking up the sunshine and just enjoying every second. This all because I simply committed to help 5 people a month-every month in 2015. I seriously know that it sounds too good to be true– but this is our reality and I’m so happy that I dove in and didn’t look back! I am successful and I (along with a few thousand others) earned this trip because we care about people and put their needs before our own! I am committed to helping people set and reach their goals- whether it be for health and fitness or business!
What were the requirements of the trip?
The requirements to earn this trip for free was based on accumulating success club points! Points are achieved when challengers commit to participating in a challenge group with the use of a challenge pack. As I earned Success Club points throughout the year, I was able to turn them into Cruise Dollars for the trip. I was able to upgrade my room to a balcony view and still have $2,000 on board credit for excursions and other perks! ( I paid a $300 deposit which covered Dustin and myself and then each child was $175. ) Ummmm.. win win!! I totally spoiled my family with the extra cash on the ship!
What did you do on the trip?
On our way to board our cruise ship! Work from the car!
The boat set sail on March 12th from Ft. Lauderdale. The first day, we spent exploring the ship with the kiddos!! They were in love with the all you can eat pizza and ice cream 😉 And let’s be real… so was I! We met up with some of our friends and hung out by the pool!
Me and Lo! Pool time!
friends are family!
That evening was our Elite Party that Dustin and I attended! We took our kids to the kids play zone where they got to play games and watch movies with a super fun staff and Dustin and I snuck away for a couple of hours to dance and mingle with other elite coaches in the company! That is definitely a perk of being a top coach in the organization! My team rocks and I love representing all of our hard work! You know what they say- work hard… play hard!
tony horton! 22 minute hard corps!
Tony Horton! 22 Minute Hard Corps!
The next morning I was up bright and early for a live workout on the top deck of the ship! It was windy and a little chilly, but that never stops us! We had a great sweat sesh and then we docked in the BAHAMAS!!! This was our first time in the bahamas and it was gorgeous!! My kids loved the clear water (even though we live by the beach- we loved the atmosphere of the bahamas!)!! Our taxi driver took us to a small private beach off the port where the water was calm. We spent the day with friends watching the kids play in the sand. The water was crystal clear. The weather was perfect- a slight breeze without the humidity. It was just so nice to lay out on blankets while the daddy’s played with all of the kids in the water! All of us girls just kept talking about how much different our lives would look had we never started working as a coach with beachbody! We all agreed that family vacations would be limited to weekend camping trips or just visiting family… a trip like the one we were on would have never been in the budget when a few years ago- most of us were barely able to scrape by from paycheck to paycheck!
Welcome to the Bahamas!
When we got back on the ship from our day at the beach we quickly got ready and took our girls to formal night at our dining place! The food was incredible!! Filets and of course dessert! Maddie ate one roll and then fell asleep in her chair before we even ordered her dinner! Poor baby! She was so tired from all of the fun at the beach! It was really great getting to connect 1:1 with Lolah- talk about what she was loving and what she wanted to do for the rest of the trip. It was kind of an aha moment- to see my first baby all grown up! 8 1/2 years have flown by! And seeing her shining smile and the excitment of getting all dressed up for a fancy dinner– it was just a full circle moment!
My stud muffin!
Lo at dinner!
We spent the next day sailing through the beautiful calm seas enjoying drinks by the kiddie pool and enjoying amazing meals fit for royalty. And of course– all you can eat ice cream… because it was right next to the kiddie pool! So the kids loved that! Oh and I will not leave out- the live workout at 6:30 am! Vacation to me means always getting my exercise to start my day off right!!!
Live workout time!
22 min hard corps treated me well!! Bikini ready!
When we docked in Jamaica the next day we took a taxi to a beautiful beach where we got a few drinks and had lunch! The kids built sand castles- we listened to live music and even took a few naps in the lounge chair!! Living the dream life!
Fun in the sun!
Chicken fight in the water!
That night we went to dinner with our best friends and their spouses to an amazing Italian restaurant!! I’m talking AHHMAZING food! We were so full from dinner and wine that we all headed back to the room by 11 and went to sleep!!
Dinner with friends!
Some of my Legacy coaches!
One of my fave pics of me and Mel!
Bye Bye Jamaica!
On the final day, I learned about the new workout being released in July! The program is called Country Heat and is an awesome workout for people who are new to working out, love line dancing, and/or people who are looking for a great, fun sweat! I’m so excited to try this program! Come on July!
I also earned an exclusive photo opp with all the celebrity trainers. It’s always an honor to get to meet the people who are changing so many lives!
Autumn Calabrese! 21 Day Fix, Hammer and Chisel, Country Heat!
The last night on the ship we went to a Mexican restaurant to celebrate my friend’s little boys birthday!! So cute to watch all of the kids sing happy birthday and just have a blast together! Of course they had to hop on the carousel ride!! That was a big hit!
Guacamole and birthday celebration!
So much fun!
Go Daddy Go!
Then- on Thursday we were back in Ft. Lauderdale!! The vacation was amazing and we just felt incredible for being so appreciated!
Once we got off the boat- Dustin and I decided to extend the vacation with our girls by taking a drive from Ft. Lauderdale to Orlando where we spent a day at Legoland with a few of our best friends!! Never in a million years would we ever think we would be able to financially be able to just decide ‘oh hey!’ let’s just stay at a gorgeous resort and go to legoland!!! SO BLESSED and grateful for sure! We had the pleasure of staying at the Orlando World Marriott. I had a chance to catch up on some emails while the kiddos hung at the pool with the dads! The girls and I pow wowed on some new team training ideas and how to always keep growing as leaders!! The best advice- never stop being the student! We are always learning and teaching! Best job ever!
feeling stuffed by day 10 of vacation!!
What were the workouts like on the ship?
Each morning you had a choice of three different workout to start the day with! The workouts took place on the top deck, and started before the sun would rise. Each trainer turned up the heat with their workouts! There was a ton of space to spread out. I have to tell you the workouts were TOUGH! Lots of leg work, plank work, and push-ups! Burning off those fruity drinks for sure!
There was a track around the ship and a gym if you wanted to workout! My hubby loves to run- so he was at the track every evening before dinner for his sweat sesh!! Not to mention, rock climbing, zip line, arcade, mini golf and a board walk with carousel and evening shows and daily movies for the kiddos!!! oh and did I mention- all you can eat ice cream 😉 lol!
Who can earn this trip?
ANY Coach can earn these trips. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been coaching or your rank in the company. This is a trip intended for any coach who is part of the bigger mission: ending the trend of obesity. When you commit to help at least 3 people a month- you are earning your way on a vacation of a lifetime!!
So can you really do this too?
Do you have a want to change your life? Do you want to change your habits, change your fitness, your finances, your lifestyle?? Do you just want to make a difference in the lives of others? Then you can earn this trip. I would love to share with you what this has done for me, for my family and best of all my mindset!! I am much happier and much healthier than ever before and I am thankful that I started coaching everyday.
Create Your Dream Life!
I am a stay at home mom. I personally have my bachelor’s degree in sports medicine- which helps since I have a background in nutrition and wellness! Do you have to have those qualifications to be a coach on my team? ABSOLUTELY NOT!! You just have to be YOU and want to help people while helping yourself. I had no idea that I would come so far in this business. I dreamed it and I followed the lead of my amazing coach who has taught me everything I know… and in turn I teach my team daily about how to build their businesses. I love that I get to teach and inspire as a profession! It is an incredible life. As my business grew I realized that my passion for helping others achieve physical and financial success was too powerful to not pursue it full time. So that was when I took it from 1 hour a day (for my first 6-8 months) to about 3+ hours a day to create the life of my dreams!
Why not you?!
I often think to myself how different my life would be if my hubby hadn’t of purchase P90X, if I didn’t get invited to hear more about coaching, if I didn’t think to myself, there has to be more to life than just getting by!
This has changed my life in every regard. How can I not be grateful. Want to know more about coaching?

The Bozzo Family: Our Last Deployment Goodbye
Here we go. I’ve sat down to start writing this probably at least 30 times in the last week and every time I do… I just stare at the screen. How do I put this into words. The emotions. The excitement. The craziness!! The BIGGEST MILESTONE in my business to date and more importantly– the biggest milestone for our family. A DREAM that I set almost 3 years ago.. an INSANE GOAL that I wanted to make become OUR reality. And today we made it official and today is the day that we are SHARING this with all of you.
After 13 years 6 months and 7 days of service, seven- 7 month long deployments, (too many to count) field trainings/assignments, 4 years spent APART during our 11 year marriage- Dustin Bozzo has officially separated from the US NAVY. We are officially DONE in the US NAVY!!!! I can’t even believe that this is reality for us. To KNOW that my husband will never have to deploy again. To know that he will be here with us everyday- forever. To know that I won’t have to WORRY and STRESS and WONDER if as he boards that plane to leave on his next assignment… if that would be the last time I would ever see my husband again. I am without a doubt GRATEFUL and SO BEYOND THANKFUL for his service to our country and FOREVER I will always hold a special place in my heart for our time in the Navy… but to know that we are now WHOLE is the biggest blessing and I am just so happy.
I will say that this was not a decision that we have taken lightly and it’s really been about a year in the making. We started the ‘what if’ talk last year at this time knowing that we would have to choose our next 3 year assignment. As the months passed on and my business kept expanding and growing… we really started seeing that the best choice for our family was going to be for Dustin not to re-enlist. It was time to put our family first, to provide balance for our life together and keep driving my business forward because it’s been mind blowing how BIG this has gotten and it’s really our baby! My role has always been a stay at home mom and my business has just been super strict scheduled hours because obviously… family is first and always will be! He knows that it’s my passion and seeing me work for the last 3 years has inspired him to continue to be my biggest supporter and hang up the uniform. And for us to be the best that we know we can be as a couple, as parents and as entrepreneurs—> he is putting on the full time daddy hat and staying at home to help me raise our daughters and to be my business partner and manager.
I will tell you too that I have worked my business during nap times, before the kids would wake up and after I put them to bed for my first year. Dustin saw that this was not just a fad for me.. but rather he saw the passion and determination unfolding. I will also tell you that about 3 years ago when I started my business and said ‘In 3 years babe.. i’m going to retire you early from the Navy so you can be a stay at home dad or just get out to do something MORE with your life.’– he actually got super offended and told me that would 1) never happen and 2) he would never get out of the Navy because he’s done it for so long that he will be a lifer… well … even with his words, I was DETERMINED to show him and prove him wrong 😉
So here we are now… And it just makes sense to take it to the next level. We have paid off all of our non mortgage debt in 2 years. We have set financial goals and Dustin has charted my business growth (past and future) and of course we always stay conservative. Each time he did the math I would blow his mind with the growth. Last year I grew 300% over the year before! When I set a goal I go for it and last year I blew every projection out of the water and achieved not only the top coach in the state of Mississippi for the 2nd year in a row but I also achieved 10 Star Diamond which brings a very nice quarterly bonus with it! This year is already proving to be much better than last and the goals that I have set are already beginning to be achieved. If you haven’t noticed yet.. I’m determined and passionate and I will never give up on my dream of changing the world. And we have also talked with our financial advisors- we have weighed the pros and cons- we have done it all.. and one thing that keeps coming back at us is this.. “WHY WOULDN’T YOU DO THIS!?!! IT JUST MAKES SENSE!”
So what does this mean for us?
It means that we finally have a choice in our own lives. We are not waiting for our next deployment date. We are not waiting for our next assignment. The girls and I are not waiting to hear when Daddy has to leave again.
It means that my husband and I get to work together! We get to be a TEAM and believe it or not- Dustin and I actually love each other and are really excited to work my business and raise our kids together. We are prepared and ready!
It means that we get to live our life by our own design. We have the income. We have the flexibility. We do not feel the need to live a crazy over the top life- we are happy and that’s what matters. And we get to spend our time together!!
We know that some people think that we are crazy. But look at us! Look at me! Do you think that we care what other people think? NO WAY! We care about ourselves. Our life together and living it how we want.. We LOVE living the unconventional lifestyle. We LOVE knowing that we can dream big and accomplish what we set out to do. It takes hard work everyday. It has taken a lot of sacrifices and we will continue to do what we need to do to grow.
At 32 years old we have:
Our kids’ education is already taken care of.
Our retirement almost completely set up.
Plans to pay off our house this year.
And so much more.
We live smart and we will continue to stay that way.
Maybe we are totally off of our rockers! Maybe people will continue to think we are crazy! But that’s okay!
I am so excited to have Dustin at home, to be able to not kill myself working early and late hours and to spend more time with him and to spend more time as a family! This change is going to allow me to be more present as a wife and I’m sure our house is going to run much smoother instead of the chaos it seems to be at when Dustin is gone! No more!! Dustin to the rescue! We are a team! He is not working for ME, we are a working together to make the Bozzo family as well rounded as possible. This business is our livelihood and together we are gonna make this our jam! I really am sad to say goodbye to the Navy in some ways! We have made some amazing friends and gotten some amazing opportunities! But we know that we’ve got new and exciting adventures ahead! But let me tell you this… How cool is it that each day both our kids wake up to US, we get to take them to school, have mid day lunch dates, go camping and travel in the summer, spend the afternoons at the pool and really anything we choose. My business is 100% mobile so we can do whatever we please while I work a full time biz. Life is sweet!
So the question of the day– is Dustin retired? What are his plans?
He is not retired- he is taking this opportunity for all that it’s worth and we are going to bring on a family unit of us and our business. He has been talking to a recruiter about the possibility of joining the Navy Reserves so he can still fill that small void of wanting to serve his country without the obligation of full time duty or deployments. He has options of creating his own passion in his own career. The best part– we don’t have to make any decisions about anything right now! We are secure and we can do what we want- when we want because he doesn’t HAVE to have a job!
So today, I got up and did my 5 am workout, Dustin got up and got ready to head in to sign his last paper, he made us some Shakeology before he left and he walked out the door to head to the base for the very last time! He gave me a hug and a kiss, looked back one last time and I just smiled the biggest smile. And when that door closed. I cried. Not sad tears! But tears of HAPPINESS because this is going to be the BIGGEST BLESSING OF OUR LIVES!!!!!
Thank you Beachbody for creating an opportunity for families to live their life by design! This is our story and I was INSPIRED by stories like this 3 years ago. Dreamed that one day it could be for us, but always wondered if we could actually do it. Well we have and if we can do it then anyone can. Let me share this- If you want something more, you want to create your own future and dictate the rules, the work hours the effort and the income has been it for us!!! This takes work and dedication and if you’re willing to go after it, the possibilities are endless. Never in a million years would I imagine this is where I would be right now! But we are and I wouldn’t change it for the world!
We are starting the next chapter 🙂
