Country Heat Recap and What I’m Up To Next!

Hey everyone! So guess what? I finished 30 days of Country Heat! And here’s how it went down for me!

  1. I am a hardcore workout woman! I actually enjoy sweating, burpees, weights and all of that stuff! So I was skeptical about this program and it had me way out of my comfort zone. I really had no idea if I was even going to stick to it.Screen Shot 2016-08-30 at 2.20.49 PM
  2. I have two left feet. Sometimes I still question how I ever made the high school dance line team because clearly I am not the greatest dancer in the world, but I can do anything I put my mind to doing.Screen Shot 2016-08-30 at 2.22.06 PM

But here’s what happened.

I loved the music! It is country music, but it was catchy and I found myself singing along a few times.

I loved that it was less than 30 minutes everyday. I don’t do anything longer, I have a jam packed schedule so I try to stay on track and limit my workouts to 30 minutes a day.

I had a sweat fest everyday. Oh my gosh. I really had no clue what I was in for! The moves were awesome and really made me move and workout!

The moves were made for people who really don’t have a history of dance moves! It usually took me a couple of days to really get the hang of it, but once I did it was easy peasy!

I did stick to the program. A few times I did THINK ABOUT quitting to go back to a program I know ‘works’, but the thing about testing a new product, I have to commit!! I can’t stop in the middle. I have to truly stick to it. So I did and I was SHOCKED with my results ((Check them out below.))

Now- NUTRITION.

This is truly where results come from. So- every week I sat down and made a meal plan just like the one above. Most of the time it was pretty much the same types of food because that’s what we like! You can search my recipes under HEALTHY RECIPES on this blog! But I do not deprive myself at all. I had 4 TREAT meals 😉 for the 30 days. We either went out to dinner and I threw care to the wind or we had some kind of dessert- because I’m obsessed with sugar and sweets. It’s why I have to ‘plan’ my food so much, otherwise I would eat every bit of junk food around!!!Screen Shot 2016-08-30 at 2.32.05 PM

I also had wine a couple of nights. You all need to know that I am human and I totally eat treats and things that I ‘shouldn’t.’ and I don’t care who knows it!! It’s life! And I do a pretty great job at being transparent!

So with that!!!!

My results were awesome!!! I was in total shock when I put the pics side by side!

I lost 3 pounds and 6 inches. I don’t really get on the scale much, but when I am giving my all to a program and for my customers then I do it to show I am always going to lead by example! My photos show the difference and I am really happy with how I FEEL!! That’s what it’s all about for me!

 

But—> We all know that we DON’T STOP when ONE PROGRAM ENDS!!! Right?!! So what’s next?!!

I am moving on to…. P90X3!! I want to do a longer program. I enjoy 60-90 day programs because they keep me motivated!! I am looking for 8-10 ladies to join me for this next challenge group.
